Three-Generation Family Business

BowTie Bison Farm is owned and operated by the Graw Family in Davidsonville Maryland.

About Us

Robert G. Graw, Jr.

In 1972, Dr. Graw purchased a farmhouse in the small rural community of Davidsonville, Maryland.  He has provided pediatric care to the community for more than 50 years in his office on the farm.  Generations of parents and their children have loved visiting the farm to see chickens, peacocks, goats, sheep, cows, and bulls. It's a wonderful place to slow down and get connected with nature.

Today, Dr. Graw is a Pediatrician, Businessman, Philanthropist, great Father, and amazing 'Pops' to his grandkids.  Ten years ago, Dr. Graw had a vision of producing quality Bison.  He began with a couple of cows and a bull.  Soon, along came a calf. Ten heads then became twenty.  Today he has a herd of over 60 Bison.  Every step of his Bison raising process is geared toward producing the best possible meat.
